Aion-Themed Tattoo Conversions, Set I

These tattoos first appeared in Aion. Lesatho converted these for DragonAge, MissAnne found them and wanted them for Sims 3 and so I converted them. I have not played Aion so I have no idea what the tattoos in the game look like and I used Lesathos images with her permission.

The pictures in this post are by MissAnne. If you want more, see the amazing Dark Heresy story that Anne authors.

Download Aion-Themed Tattoo Set I
To tattoo sim's face, download Tattoo Locations mod from NRaas or MTS

I named the tattoos while converting them. Sword and Flowers tattoos come with 2 versions, one for the left side of the face and one for the right side. As tattoos allow layering, you can then have them also on both sides at the same time if you want.

Flowers

Klingon

Sword

There is also another set of these under work, but those larger tattoos got all wonky at conversion and I'm not sure when and if I'll have the endurance to finish them.

    2. They do look beautiful on Miss Anne's Sims. But I just put them on some Sims I'm working on and they look great. Granted, these Sims I'm doing are faeries for a fantasy story not regular humans, lol. But still, great job, misu.

  2. OMG! My sister plays this game and ever since I learned to make tattoos she's been wanting some that looked the same XD! You've saved me some trouble because I have no idea how to straight convert them like you have! Thank you!

  4. Thank you so much for converting this, Misu :D

Since the others are too difficult, please do not waste any more of your time on them. I'm super grateful that you tried.

Anyway, I was able to find some other tattoos, so my sims should have enough for the story =]

    1. You are welcome, and I'm glad you found the tattoos you needed.

I wouldn't say they are too difficult, they are just wonky and fixing them will need several rounds of iWarping them in Gimp and then packaging them to see them in game. It is just annoying work since I cannot predict how the change in Gimp will affect the tattoo in game.

I like these tattoos, so I might finish them some day when I get bored with other stuff, but for now I'll leave them to the backburner.

  5. I love these tattoos, but I'm having a problem with the flowers ones. They aren't centered over the sim's eye. Instead they are "pulled" over towards the ear. I'm using the NRaas mod with the whole face location.

    1. That is because that particular tattoo looked wonky when normal size. You'll have to use the scale option in the advanced tattoo options to make it a tad smaller.
